Effective oil cooling ensures that the oils lubricating properties are maximised to protect your engine when under load. similarly, automatic gearbox oil acts as a "fluid drive" and towing a heavy load causes heat through slippage, causing more heat, resulting in more slippage as the oil thins. This leads quickly to gearbox failure due to oil seal damage, caused by pressure build up and torque converter breakdown.
Simple and quick fixings are included to suit most applications where the oil cooler is positioned against the water radiator. An advanced clamping system enables fast and effective installation without drilling or spanners by passing four slender but strong plastic securing strips through the water radiator, these are locked up tightly with a highly effective ratchet securing head arrangement. Alternatively the cooler incorporates mounting lugs which can be bolted to the vehicle such as the chassis - or mounting brackets are available on request.
